Dr. Abdijalil Abdullahi Mohamed is a dedicated academic and accomplished researcher specializing in advanced computer networking. He currently serves as the Head of the Department of Information Technology in the Faculty of Computing at SIMAD University. He holds a Ph.D. in Advanced Computer Networking from Universiti Sains Malaysia, where his doctoral research focused on optimizing routing mechanisms within Software Defined Exchange Point (SDX) environments. His research interests include Internet Governance, Software Defined Networking (SDN), Cybersecurity, and Machine Learning. Dr. Abdijalil has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and actively contributes to academic discussions at both local and international levels. Passionate about teaching and research, he mentors undergraduate and postgraduate students while leading various departmental research and innovation initiatives aimed at advancing knowledge and practical solutions in the field of information technology.
