Faculty of Computing, SIMAD University, Faculty of Computing – SU launched a software and hardware repair service program “Computer Maintenance Program” for university students. The primary objective of the program was to provide a service to students who were experiencing software or hardware issues with their computers. Also, provide a learning opportunity for students in the Faculty of Computing, by allowing them to gain hands-on experience in diagnosing and fixing common computer issues. The program was a resounding success, with many students took advantage of the services offered. The repair and maintenance cost valued at more than $389 but students got it for free.
